SteepGear is intended for Emergency Fall Protection and does not replace the need for a fall arrest system. You should always use fall arrest equipment regardless of wearing our product or not.

SteepGear is a tool to be used to help slow your descent if a fall was to occur while accessing any elevated surface and is not recommended for continuous surface contact as the specially formulated rubber may loosen and become less effective.

SteepGear should not be used if it is dirty or damaged and will not grip on wet, dusty, mossy, deteriorated, or ice covered surfaces.

SteeprGear should be slipped on while standing or sitting on a flat surface.

There is no guarantee that SteepGear will protect you from injuries or death while wearing the SteepGear product.
